Therefore, Hanoi's cuisine appeals greatly to those who appreciate lighter dining experiences. By joining this family-friendly experience in Hanoi, you and your kids will be taken through the historic yet peaceful atmosphere, fully immersing yourselves by exploring the cooking class in a small alley, also known as “ngõ” in Hanoian-Vietnamese.

 

Our local guides will welcome you and initiate the experience by preparing the ingredients. The main dish of the cooking class can be tailored to your preferences, or Chôm Chôm Travel can assist you in selecting a cuisine that suits your family best. Options include the following:

• Papaya salad, bún chả, chả giò (nem rán)

• Chicken salad, phở gà (2 ways to serve)

• Green mango salad, phở bò, phở cuốn

• Morning glory stir-fried with garlic, caramelized pork, tofu with tomato sauce, and rice.

If you are a vegetarian and have concerns about learning Vietnamese or Hanoian vegan dishes, fear not! Our excellent local cooks  are good at vegetarian food as well!

 

This local cooking experience is around 4 hours long, enchanting you  with the art of seasoning the dishes and the cooking methods which give a unique flavour to the dishes, a taste you can only find in Hanoi, or Vietnam in general!
